Mastronardi Produce/SUNSET is the leading greenhouse grower in North America with facilities all over the world. We have an immediate opening for an APPLICATION DEVELOPER in our expanding IT Department. The position is based at the company’s head office in Kingsville, Ontario.
As an Application Developer, you will join the IT team of a rapidly growing company to implement efficient IT solutions. The Application Developer will also test, analyze and amend software in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required. Strong Microsoft, experience preferred including: .NET, VB.Net, C#, SQL, Web Services, ASP, SharePoint and database development or design. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV development is a definite plus.
Job duties will include:
- Work with project manager, consultants and business analysts to analyze business requirements and needs
- Assess the quality of source code, conduct code reviews and provide feedback
- Design process improvement modifications that are compatible with other integrated components, baseline functionality, and provide flexibility for subsequent builds
- Develop plans and direct testing for quality assurance
- Provide maintenance on current code base.
- Communicate all project-related work including technical issues, design changes and scope changes to the project manager
- Stay current on product releases and new technologies related to your field of expertise
- Develop personal skills to efficiently and effectively work individually, and as a member of the IT team

Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology related field of study
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in software/application development ideally experienced with ERP systems and or Microsoft Dynamic NAV.
- Current have or willing to achieve MS Dynamics certifications
- Certifications – Microsoft SQL server, MCAD, MCSD, MCPD or similar is a plus
- Excellent Programming Knowledge in VB .net, C#, ASP, .Net, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft SQL Server, data base management, SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Web Services (HTML, ASP, Java), EDI mapping and SharePoint
- Experience with JetReports and Targit Business Intelligence Suite applications a plus
